Brentwood Fake Grass Installation
This fitting took place over four days in a Brentwood garden. The client wanted a play area for his children to the rear of their normal garden area. They also wanted a new area for the trampoline to be put and not on the new Belgravia grass. The grass that was being removed from the new play area had to be used to replace old grass in the front garden area.
The fitting team got to work in removing the soil, turf and the bark from the rear of the garden. This new play area was going to be 144 m2 in size, but we had to put in 27 linear metres of new core aluminium edging around the newly planted bushes to the rear and side areas of the fitting, as well as separate the original grass from the artificial grass by using 18 linear metres of wooden sleepers. The most challenging part was getting the level of the base right as the garden had a slope from left to right which we tried to eradicate by using a deeper amount of base materials to get the levels needed.
The area where the new trampoline was going to be situated had to have a curved edging which the client wanted made from sleepers. Each sleeper was cut to a certain length and the fitting team manage to form the curve on the edge to give a different contour in the garden.
