Newbury Park Primary School – Artificial Grass Case Study
This was a large area of 192m2 which was fitted with our Easi-Holland Park artificial grass range. It took a week to complete with comprehensive preparations for the base layer installation and levelling off. It was particularly important on this job that the base was even and level with the surrounding playground so the grass fitting did not cause any trip hazards for the children. A wooden edge (38 linear metres) was installed first to allow for the tuck and pinning of the grass into this edge.
The finished space looks great and the school and client are very happy. The area was created so the children could play and have an outdoor reading space, without having to sit on wet and muddy grass. The school bought some reading pods which were placed after we had finished the installation – this previously underused area has now become a great asset to the school.
